Converted DC power supply

psuThe start of building a HHO (Hydroxy) electrolysis system involves sitting down and exercising your imagination. One of the first thoughts that come to mind is how will one power such a device? At first i raided my spare parts cabinet

for all of the laptop power supply chords i had lying around. I found one that supplied 12V and 1 Amp and converted the household alternating current into a 12V DC supply.

The 1 AMP was not enough grunt for me so I decided to modify an old PC power supply. If you are following the same path save your self some time and use the wikihow on the process. It took me an entire day to discover that i needed a load on the PSU in order for it to function. You can see a woking example of the HHO Cell here and look at the construction of the device here. Below is a video showing the power supply only. Not too exciting.
