Crazy weather snow

SnowmanNew Zealand is such a thin country (longitudinally) and the weather patterns sweep across the land in no time at all. A great kiwi band once wrote a song called '4 seasons in one day' and i believe it was this weather that he referred to. Four days ago we had a summers morning followed by light showers, then hail with snow starting on sun down.

Today the weather here once again amazed me. It consolidates my thinking that natures patterns are in a constant state of flux, and that nothing is as permanent as change. We can try to pin her down with seasons and dates but mother nature answers to nobody, and has her own agenda. Below is a video of the unseasonal snow storm that i woke up to this morning. I had no idea until i drew the curtans in the morning ... and that feeling of suprise and wonder stops you in your tracks for more than a few moments.
